Premier Cable Panel Mount USB-C 3.1 to USB A Extension Cable will allow you to enclose a device that has a USB A port, and also converts it to a modern USB C connector at the same time.
This cable has a USB Type-A plug connector on one end, and a USB C socket with special over-molding on the other end. The socket side has two mounting 'ears' with M3 screws installed 20mm apart.
